I go by the name Alexander, although most people (not my mother) tend to call me Alex. As a kid I would sometimes wish for other, more catchy or heroic names, but while growing I've ended up dismissing them one by one, and today finds me rather fond of the names I bear. I wouldn't want to change them, although I guess the thought of inventing your own set of names is at least a little bit appealing, now and then.

I don't drink a lot of coffee, and I tend to want sugar and cream in it if I do. It's particularly nasty when ice-cream comes coffee-flavoured, or with a hint of alcohol in it. Or even worse, those chocolate pralines with cherry punch in them. Somehow they feel like an adult violation of things supposedly belonging to children.

Speaking of that, I think being a kid again is one of the few things I occasionally feel like I miss. Like my brother once said, while growing up things were a game but always felt like the real thing. Nowadays most things are seriously real, important and weighed-down with responsibility, but somehow they end up feeling a bit distant, like a game.

Well. So, this is intended as a basic (and probably somewhat inert) presentation of me. Please visit the diary to see what I think about and am up to on a more daily basis.

Also, I'm a sucker for internet communication. If you like what you read, don't like what you read, want to comment, or just say hi, please mail me at rimbaud@swipnet.se.
