Today was one of those days with the air full of dandelion seeds, parachuting around. I'm not quite sure what casues those all-at-once cascades. Maybe it's a decent period with a lot of sun and no rain, followed by an extraordinarily windy day. Or maybe the little dandelions just feel it in the air, and can tell when it's time to drop their load.

Nowadays, however, they tend to remind me of the movie Amarcord. It opens and ends with the arrival of similar seeds (or fairy fluff), and to Fellini they signified the arrival of spring.
Amarcord, as you might be aware of, means "I remember", not as much in official Italian as in Fellini's native dialect of it.

That's a good title for a film, I think. I try to remember as many things as I can myself.

I remember dodging those seeds when I was young.

I remember having
claws that could cut steel like rice paper, and
unbreakable bones.

I remember being the best there is
at what I do.

I remember

the smell of her hair.
